If any of you want to see a small show in a venue with totally kewl atmosphere and charm, try and get to Rider’s Inn in Painesville, Ohio this Friday.  Thomas Reed Smith, one the artists featured on our bot and/or podcasts here at the station, will be playing there December 7th. And, fear not, he is bringing the chicken.

The atmosphere is cozy, comfy and homey.  The music is always good.

Rider’s Inn is a bed and breakfast which regularly features acoustic sets from local artists and open mic nights.  The 200 year old landmark offers a full service restaurant, of course rooms at reasonable rates and has a pub.  Be sure and check out their special events page for events through out the year.

Specifically regarding music though, they have a Tuesday night Songwriters Showcase and free live shows every Friday and Saturday.  Mark Kindler, and others are there on a regular basis.  If you can not catch Thomas Reed Smith this week he will also be playing Rider’s on the following dates:

  • January 26 from 8 PM to 11PM
  • February 23 from 8 PM to 11 PM
  • March 30 from 8 PM to 11 PM
