For this week’s episode of the LumpCast, I thought I would kick back to some of the musicians we have had the pleasure to get to know in the recent past, some locally from Cleveland and others from elsewhere.

Bragg recently stared in “My City” a short that follows a young musician on a course of self discovery as she decides what to do with her future. The film was written and directed by local filmmaker Kyle Retter and was shot in partnership with Shoot It Already Films this summer. It will be premiering at Arts in Colinwood December 28, 2011, at 7 o’clock and admission is free, Come early for some great food, drink, and a chance to hang out with the cast and crew, doors open at 6.

Stupid As Charged 007 – Highway Robbery, Bath Salts, Christmas Lights, and How Not to Get a Ride

This week’s “Stupid As Charged” consists of three stories which all share the theme of stupid, dumb, strange, weird or in some other manner are worthy of a dunce cap rating. In particular this episode… some “hoodlums” take “highway robbery” to a whole new level, putting up the Christmas decorations early and an interesting way to get driven home.

While I may be big into multipurpose devices and am also pleased by successful local businesses, I am not exactly too sure about this one. Gizmag points us to a Cleveland, Ohio company, IMPACT which is offering a ballistic clipboard.

This particular interview is with Brenden Potter and Mitchell Mack. This is one of many in a series of interviews at the 2011 Indie Gathering. It is an annual international event usually held at the Westlake Holiday Inn in the greater Cleveland, Ohio area. This was the event’s fifteenth year.
