Alcohol & Bad Decisions
Psychocide is a hard rocking quartet from Montreal. Their music is explosive and energetic. Their latest release, Alcohol & Bad Decisions shall be available March 3, 2017.
The album is engineered by Christian Cummings who has worked with U2, Blink-182, Switchfoot and The Used. The album is a concept album which tells the story of characters that will be in a future comic book. After the break is a music video from the band.

A Kick Ass New EP by a New Musical Duo, Introducing “The Dead Good”
There are days when I really love my inbox. Then there are other days where “we listen to bad music so you don’t have to” rings so loud that I hate even having to touch the emails to delete them.
Today was not one of those days, thank you Sonny for letting us know about your band and your Thirteen Polaroids EP ! This duo, self-described as a “German-Italian alternative rock duo”, formed in Los Angeles has a really solid début EP.
The following information was received from Adrenaline PR:
LAMB OF GOD Partners with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE for North American Tour
Testament and Huntress to Support
Long-time friends LAMB OF GOD and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have joined forces for what will undoubtedly be one of the essential “can’t miss” tours of the fall of 2013. The tour launches October 22 in Toronto and canvases much of the U.S and Canada. The two bands are a dominant live pairing, and will combine for 28 North American shows in total. Support for all shows except Los Angeles will be provided by thrash legends Testament, with Huntress opening all shows.
Better the Day Before Rather Than the Morning After
Forgive me for almost forgetting about this press release we received from Exit 384 Media but I have been buried of the late. Great news for those of you who like hard/pop/punk rock. Thieves certainly fits that bill and they are touring… starting tomorrow.
Read on for more of the release from Exit 384 Media!
Buckcherry to Release Confessions on February 19, 2013
I am very thankful that Century Media, a label who has the goal of bringing you the finest metal in the world, sent us a pre-release of Buckcherry’s new album, Confessions… And I mean really, really, really thankful. While we tend not to push much main stream music on our station, this album is must have for your metal collection. It is going to take dozens of listens for me to pick a favorite track.
This thirteen track album, conceptually about the Seven Deadly Sins, is one of the best releases I have heard in years. Kudos to the band for keeping with the signature style that we all love and simultaneously showing diversity. Naturally, I expect Buckcherry to release quality but, in my opinion, they really stepped it up with this release. I am not totally familiar with all six of this band’s releases but this is the best work I have ever heard from them and deserves the highest praise possible.
This album is to be released in the US and Canada on February 19. Mark your calendar and be sure and get this album… you will not regret it. You can check out this release by listening to the Podomatic Episode featuring the band.
Taking a Break to Make it Even Better
I like it when bands make good choices. Worth the Wait, in my opinion, is doing just that. According to a post at their Facebook page, they are going take a bit of a break. Unlike many bands who do so due to conflict within, they are doing so for all the right reasons. This band is taking a break for all the right reasons. They are focusing on making their “come back” to mean a better band.
Welcome to the First Episode of The Whatever and Whenever PodCast
Welcome to episode 001 of the Whatever and Whenever PodCast, actually, when we recorded this episode, we had not even thought of a name for it. Meshelly and Lumpy just knew that we wanted to add another show to the line up at Indie Nation. We wanted to do news and music… and we wanted to simply use it to hijack the stream when nothing else was scheduled. We also knew we wanted something that would be fun and safe for work. Our thought was something like a drive time show, mostly music, some fun banter and some recent news.
So on the mics we go, fired up idjc (Internet DJ Console) and off into cyberspace we blasted. And remember, you will never know when a new show may stream live and, in the end, time-shifted or live, it is hopefully great content.
2012.03.16 – Friday Night Freak n’ Geek
Greetings once again Indienation Listeners, Followers and Curiosity Seekers! As I get more and more stoked with coming to you with each new episode, I’ve been sharpening my skills as a more technical podcaster. After doing conventional radio after all these years it seems difficult to break out of that mold of Pavlovian Conditioning and getting with the new age of radio. In other words folks – I think I’ve almost fully grasped what it means to be a viable part of the new media order. Podsafe, Indie Music Radio all for the sheer love of playing it, doing it and rubbing into the corporate ass-holes face as to why they are dying a slow and painful death!
This week I’m delving more into my passion of all passions – Heavy Metal. Lumpy is thoroughly convinced we are going to Hell now! lol We were lucky to get a hold of some new material that wasn’t released yet. I wanted to stay close to 2 tracks from each band so we could fit a couple more artists into the show. These are 2 of the fastest hours I spend during the week and it sure beats flipping burgers!! Cleta, OmniDragon and Knowles join in on the fun and we extend the invitation for you the listener to join us as well through TeamSpeak. Let us know you are there and we’ll get a shout out to ya!
We happened to be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on this one and toast to you a big gulp of George Killian’s Irish Red Beer as our last call! This is such a great brew cold as well as for cooking in Pot Roasts, Stews, Stuffed Peppers or Stuffed Cabbage and especially for that St. Patrick’s Day favourite – Corned Beef!
2012.03.09-Friday Night Freak N’ Geek
Join Lumpy and Boz for Friday night Freak n’ Geek as they chat with Cleta, OmniDragon and Knowles as they join them via Teamspeak they talked about everything from Lumpy and Boz’s Cats, to the Corned beef, and split pea soup they are cooking and even talked about opossums in a pastry shop. They tell about the cigar they have tonight and the beer they will be sampling as they give a toast at the end of the show, lots of laughs, good stories, and great music. They started the show with some music from:
