The Dead Good – Thirteen Polaroids

There are days when I really love my inbox.  Then there are other days where “we listen to bad music so you don’t have to” rings so loud that I hate even having to touch the emails to delete them.

Today was not one of those days, thank you Sonny for letting us know about your band and your Thirteen Polaroids EP !  This duo, self-described as a “German-Italian alternative rock duo”, formed in Los Angeles has a really solid début EP.

Welcome to episode 001 of the Whatever and Whenever PodCast, actually, when we recorded this episode, we had not even thought of a name for it. Meshelly and Lumpy just knew that we wanted to add another show to the line up at Indie Nation. We wanted to do news and music… and we wanted to simply use it to hijack the stream when nothing else was scheduled. We also knew we wanted something that would be fun and safe for work. Our thought was something like a drive time show, mostly music, some fun banter and some recent news.

So on the mics we go, fired up idjc (Internet DJ Console) and off into cyberspace we blasted. And remember, you will never know when a new show may stream live and, in the end, time-shifted or live, it is hopefully great content.

2012.02.24 – Friday Night Freak n’ Geek

Another fun filled episode of friday Night FnG. Just us goofing around. By now Lumpy is convinced that we are destined for Hell with all this heavy rock we’ve been playing. Boz can’t seem to get his head together as he fumbles his words and forgets all to often where his place is in the show – almost like as if he just woke up! lol We always like to give shout outs to all of you who follow us from all over the globe and in chat. Give us a holler and let us know you are hearing us and what you think! steve@indienation.fm Lumpy@indienation.fm

Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid, The LumpCast has Returned…..

Yes, some things may best be left dead, but The Ol’ LumpCast is not one of them.  Be sure and tune in weekly on Fridays at 10 PM for the podcast that started it all for Lumpy.

I know it has been a long while and the LumpCast has been more or less defunct. Now that Meshelly and I have our groove down on Indie Soup and others at Indie Nation are learning to do more, it is time to bring it back from the dead. Join me as I spin all kinds of music but lean more to house and dance.

Often, I feel totally overwhelmed by my in-box.  If I took these companies up on their offers, my schlong would be so large that I would need a wheel barrel to walk about, I would know secrets that would make any woman want to choke on it, and I would be able to keep it stiff for weeks on end. I would also be debt-free and obscenely wealthy likely by helping people in Nigeria funnel millions from estates with no living heirs.   That, however,  is not the type of mail I am talking about though, Thunderbird eats that stuff like bees do nectar.

Tonight’s podcast is a live show which originally streamed on 28 October, 2011. It was co-hosted by Boz and Lumpy. Tonight’s show is mostly Halloween themed.

We must caution the listeners that this show is both very long and very much not safe for work, small children and nuns.  It contains politically incorrect material and material sexual in nature… that and Georgie punches Boz.

Regrettably, Meshelly was busy getting tested for her potential hand transplant. Please give us a hand giving Meshelly a hand.

For those of you who do not know, Meshelly is our station’s programing director. Lumpy often calls her his “right hand man” which is an inside joke. You see, Michelle is not a man and she has no right hand. Currently, she is in line for a hand transplant. However, she needs to raise about 55K in order to fund this miracle of modern science. If is not a feat she shall achieve single handedly so please, get on over to Give Meshelly a Hand and help us out.

The date was July 20, 2011 and the temperature would have likely been cooler on the bright side of Mercury.  The only thing hotter than the weather was the music and energy at Vans Warped Tour. We wish to warn you now… you shall hear some material considered NSFW which is short for Not Safe For Work.
