Christmas Music, One Last Show
Some material may not be considered safe for work (NSFW), children and arachnids over 3 feet tall
Cleta, Knowles217, OmniDragon and Lumpy were still up for spinning some Christmas music. This one, as well is about the music and not talk. We didn’t cover any news. We simply spun Christmas music and told you what we played. We hope you all had a great holiday season last year and hope you are starting off having a great new year. Enjoy the last in the Podcast of Christmas here at indienation.fm
What Did You Do on Christmas? We did another “Podcast of Christmas !”
For Lumpy, Christmas is for the children. My family celebrates it on Christmas Eve and I spent most of my Christmas Day organizing Christmas Music. This podcast originally streamed live on Christmas Day, it is Christmas Music with only a tad bit of chat in between. Merry Christmas and enjoy: Special kudos and thanks to Cleta and Knowles217 for joining me on this holiday special. Here is a list of what we played in three and half hour show.
Greetings and Happy Christmas Listeners,
Welcome to our first annual Christmas party, held both on-line and in the Cold Crank Studio in Cleveland, Ohio. At one point in time during this three and a half hour live stream almost every member of the staff was able to join us.
The party thought started rather impromptu when some of us locally got together to do some Christmas IDs for the stream. Then Cleta got busy at geekshed and got in touch with a few of the other regulars. Regrettably we did not manage to contact everyone due to the impromptu nature of it. So if you didn’t get and invite, don’t be offended, that is just the way it worked out this time.
Podcasts of Christmas “Twas the Night Before Christmas” and “Eli’s Soap Box Theater”
For this Podcast of Christmas, Rob and Lump decided to just stick with spoken word. After all, what is Christmas with out hearing the timeless “Twas the Night Before Christmas”.
We also decided to go with something new, “Ruth the Christmas Chicken” by Eli Fletcher.
While we agree that Christmas is a holiday that should be mostly for children, adults need to have some fun with it as well. This podcast is NOT intended for children. It is NSFW which means Not Safe For Work. We are going to be playing adult music and humor music. If you are offended by such material, go back to church and pray for our souls.
Greetings Indie Nation listeners,
Yes, it is that time of the year again where the malls and stores will deafen you with the same thirty versions of six Christmas songs. To be honest, Lumpy feels more like Scrooge this year and is having a hard time getting in the spirit. The reasons are pretty simple:
- They started the Christmas music before Halloween
- They are playing the same music year after year in the same order
- I don’t have a job
- They are setting up multiple Santas at the exits, asking money for multiple causes… man the kids are going to be confused… it is worse than all the Krishna’s at the airport
- Last and largest, THERE IS NO SNOW
