Governor Jerry Brown signed a bill that will make driverless cars legal in California.  I feel it is appropriate that the bill was signed at Google headquarters with the governor arriving in one of those said cars… Wait, does that mean he broke the law on the way there?

I can see how this can do a lot of things such as reduce congestion, give the commuter some time to catch up on reading, etc.,

I can’t help but wonder how long before there is a call to change DUI laws.  I mean if the car can drive itself, why can’t one have a beer?  Better yet, what about a taxi cab  without a driver?
