While we have heard much about the greatness of David Bowie since his passing  there are still others around doing great work. Iggy Pop and Josh Homme are among them. Sadly, the Star Man may no longer with us, he is, in a sense, still here. He was not only a terrific performer but served as a mentor and inspiration to many musicians. I am pleased to see some new work by a musician who once stated “He resurrected me” in an interview when he referred to the late artist.

After the break, check out this performance of a new track from Iggy Pop and Josh Homme.

In my opinion, Gardenia is a great song. Additionally, I think the album sounds very promising. There is simply something exciting about a self-funded secret album. In my opinion, it shows that the artists are into the project for the art and not any publicity or fame. That is a welcome change from many other stars of today.  I really like the name of Post-Pop Depression
