Welcome to the First Episode of The Whatever and Whenever PodCast
Welcome to episode 001 of the Whatever and Whenever PodCast, actually, when we recorded this episode, we had not even thought of a name for it. Meshelly and Lumpy just knew that we wanted to add another show to the line up at Indie Nation. We wanted to do news and music… and we wanted to simply use it to hijack the stream when nothing else was scheduled. We also knew we wanted something that would be fun and safe for work. Our thought was something like a drive time show, mostly music, some fun banter and some recent news.
So on the mics we go, fired up idjc (Internet DJ Console) and off into cyberspace we blasted. And remember, you will never know when a new show may stream live and, in the end, time-shifted or live, it is hopefully great content.

The Pwn Plug is a Little White Box That Can Hack Your Network
This is a little white box that looks like a power adapter. A nation wide bank sent in what looked like a technician to go in and say I need to test for power fluctuations on the power circuit, and what he did was just plug this white box into a power plug and then there was a little network cable that went over to the network. What it does is it will hack the network without you even touching it. It’s got a Linux type of operating system on it. You don’t even have to have a computer hooked to the network. Just plug this in, it hacks the network, and you can buy these for 480 dollars for a basic model. And for $250 dollars more, you can get an elite version. You can connect to it over a mobile network and it pretty much gets you into the network. So, this is a big security concern for places like banks, financial service companies, etc.
We went on to some music from Ana Popovic.
- Ana Popovic – Nothing Personal
- Ana Popovic – Putting Out The APB
- How Did I Google This?
