The Hush Now – Things Fall Down
The Hush Now shared the acoustic version of Things Fall Down. A few years past, Lumpy was lucky enough to catch up with some of the band when they played The Roc Bar in Cleveland, Ohio. They also let him record them live. He turned it into a concert and interview podcast. The Boston based band consists of Noel Kelly (vocals/guitar), Adam Quane (lead guitar), Barry Marino (drums), Pat MacDonald (bass) and, the latest addition, John Millar (keyboards). Check out the list of links to find these guys at and the video after the break.

Mostly from Lumpy’s Live Archives
This is a show that originally streamed live on Friday, 4 November, 2011. We went with mostly material that Lump captured Live. We must caution the listeners that it originally streamed late at night and that the material should be considered “NSFW” or Not Safe for Work.
Spooky, Kooky and Without Our Right Hand Man
Tonight’s podcast is a live show which originally streamed on 28 October, 2011. It was co-hosted by Boz and Lumpy. Tonight’s show is mostly Halloween themed.
We must caution the listeners that this show is both very long and very much not safe for work, small children and nuns. It contains politically incorrect material and material sexual in nature… that and Georgie punches Boz.
Regrettably, Meshelly was busy getting tested for her potential hand transplant. Please give us a hand giving Meshelly a hand.
For those of you who do not know, Meshelly is our station’s programing director. Lumpy often calls her his “right hand man” which is an inside joke. You see, Michelle is not a man and she has no right hand. Currently, she is in line for a hand transplant. However, she needs to raise about 55K in order to fund this miracle of modern science. If is not a feat she shall achieve single handedly so please, get on over to Give Meshelly a Hand and help us out.
Interview and Live Recording of The Hush Now on 2011.10.07
Three of our staff were fortunate enough to catch up with The Hush Now at The Roc Bar in Cleveland, Ohio. The band, management and the club were kewl enough to set us up with and interview and recording the band. We must confess that our staff was very excited with being able to catch this great band. Special thanks to Rachel Miller of Big Picture Media for setting all of this up for us.
The Boston based band consists of Noel Kelly (vocals/guitar), Adam Quane (lead guitar), Barry Marino (drums), Pat MacDonald (bass) and, the latest addition, John Millar (keyboards). Join us as Georgie, Boz and Lumpy sit down with them for both a casual and chaotic interview.
Great New Album Release “Memos” by The Hush Now
I get daily emails from labels and agents asking me to check this band or that band out. Frankly and honestly, I don’t get truly excited about too many of them. I listen to music almost constantly. The bathroom is the only room in my house with out speakers. The psychological term is “desensitization”. Add to that, I also have a programing director, Meshelly, who helps me considerably. Her and I split the load of “bad” listening and emails.
This is not to say that I don’t like many of them. Usually, I say “yeah, it’s good” or “yeah, ok”. Rarely do I jump up and down, get excited and actually call friends and associates to tell them about the band. Seriously, it is my job to “listen to bad music so you don’t have to”. Meshelly, Steve, Eric and many others got phone calls about The Hush Now. A great band and I assure you, they shall get play here. Today it is my job to say “I listened to great music to share it with you!”
